Homeboy Sandman - Calm Tornado
I had this as my ringtone for months and months. Most people don’t appreciate this kind of music, since it’s true to the core abstract hip-hop. Regardless, it’s the pinnacle of it’s genre.

Benefit - Behold
Benefit doesn’t falter from outstanding lyrics, hence why I had to post them along with the song. You need to read them while listening to this song to truly appreciate this type of music.

====================================
Well my style is free and it can’t be held in any cage or prison
While you resurrect my rhymes and practice blatant plagiarism
Livin’ in the age of wisdom but surrounded by the dead
A Beneficial sage’s wisdom set to pound it in your head
Sound will spread, eardrums bleed ‘round this red drownin’ executive
So Sick Records is found, crowned instead,
Dirty openly, with a low blow below the ovary,
Thought to be extinct I practice ancient Crypto Poetry
Rips so noblely the elderly call me gentleman
Takin’ over sound wars with an instrumental plan
Subtle stand but dominant, humble man yet prominent
Cause earthquakes by nodding heads on all seven continents
Rotten like warm fruit that spoils in the South
When I spit so hot the saliva boils in my mouth
Flow words above your head to make you stretch and catch
In ‘86 I wrote graffiti daily with an Etch-A-Sketch
Dialectically raw, go ask the nurses what they saw
Doctors died when I opened up my mouth to say AH
Throw hip-hop on time with culture, style and mic
Wear black shades because I rhyme in ultra-violet light
Silent night, wicked like womens lace wearin’ sinful
Blow speakers leavin’ remnants of bass, snare and symbol
If you bite this make sure you chew at least a thousand times
‘Cause it’s difficult to swallow even my weakest rhymes
(Chorus)
Behold (behold) Let the hip-hop unfold, the glorious sound brings youth to the old.
Behold (behold) Let the music control, the wonderful sound brings truth to the soul.
Behold (behold) Let the culture be bold, the brilliant sound brings heat to the cold.
Behold (behold) Let the world know, the immaculate sound will constantly grow.
I lace my drum loop with the nasty old ‘c’ chord
I murder swiss beats with a Casio keyboard.
These soiled Emcee’s got my soul-flushin’, they’re gold-rushin’,
While I bring it back to old cold-crushin’
Boring clean beats offerin’ no thrill
You can call my sound “soil” cause it’s just so ill
My mouth is dangerous and this is something I fear
Killed six girlfriends whispering sweet nothings in ears
I was born to be profound and I’m not new to this
I used to rhyme my ultra-sound out my Mom’s uterus
Lyrical Crucifix, Hip-hop why have you foresaken me?
Easter flow rise like yeast and dough in a bakery
No matter the condition, spittin’ Benny’ll glissin’
and like Mister Rogers I’m nice to any who listen
In a mean way I never said by the lips of the kind
Rhymes written in brail burn the fingertips of the blind
Words pierce any armor so that’s a useless vest
Grocery store skill cause’ what I produce is fresh
Highly selected with beats like when a Pope is chosen
Science baffled by spontaneous dope explosion
Death at an early age is all the lost deserve
Emcee’s are like fast food ice-cream, soft serve
As far as sales, it’s something I don’t bring up
‘Cause I’m outsold by dirty fat women backin’ that thing up(Chorus)
Akrobatik - Front Steps Pt II (Tough Love)
From his album Absolute Value. Some knowledge straight to the dome, kicking the truth.

Hopesin - I Make The World Spin
I’ve known about his raw horror-hop music for a while, but unfortunately he wasn’t getting the recondition he deserved from the rest of the world until recently. It took a while before people began realizing that this dude was going places…and he isn’t slowing down for nothing! I like his extreme views against industry wackness, and that he isn’t afraid to share his opinion as obnoxiously as possible (some what like Eminem at his prime). Don’t get me wrong though, Hopsin has many differences when compared to Em’s early style, but the general similarities are evident and can’t be ignored. From his 2009 mixtape Haywire.

Promoe - These Walls Don’t Lie
Promoe is a Swedish rapper with a very unique style. In this song he portrays the beauty of the graffiti culture, which he is a strong follower of. No doubt about it, this guy’s got great talent…and some crazy ass hair.

Vordul Mega - Handle That (ft. Vast Aire)
From Vordul Mega’s first solo album The Revolution Of Yung Havoks. After listening to all of Vordul Mega’s solo albums again, I officially like Vordul Mega’s solo efforts much better than Vast Aire’s solo “attempts”. Regardless though, whenever they do a song together, I can’t help but love it.

My favorite song from his album Together/Apart
“crawling on the gravel like a regular guy” - truth

Dirty Hank - Umbrellas And Mac 10s
This banger from Rhode Island is essentially under everyone’s radar. If you heard of this song before, I give you huge props. It has an amazing beat with production from Falside.
